Daytona Speedway:
The "World Center of Racing", Home of the Daytona 500

For almost five years, Cleanevent has been delivering cleaning and waste management services at Daytona International Speedway. Responsibilities range from pre-cleaning suites, grandstands, concourses and restrooms, to full-service cleaning and waste management during and after events. Cleanevent works with area non-profit groups to tap additional workers and help raise monies to support education and social service agencies - a win-win combination for everyone involved.

For Daytona 500, it takes three shifts of 200 workers a day to service the biggest motorsports event on the NASCAR season schedule. Simply put, Speedweek at Daytona is a long, hard event, challenging the stamina of race fans and event staff alike. The demands of so many back to back events, and the size and scope of the facility, require a smart, flexible approach together with military-style planning.

Flemington Racecourse:

Flemington Racecourse is acknowledged as one of the pre-eminent racing venues worldwide.

Over the course of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Cleanevent helps the Victoria Racing Club keep more than 100 corporate and catering sites in immaculate condition. These include permanent and temporary structures, marquees and lawn venues. Cleanevent is responsible for cleaning and waste management across all facilities and grounds, including members' areas as well as corporate, public and sponsors' facilities.

The Melbourne Cup Carnival has grown in stature over the past 17 years, as has Cleanevent. Today, both enjoy a well deserved reputation for world class quality and the highest international standards.

Major Events Planning:

Whether the challenge be breaking down the barriers with those "that have been there and done that" before, or the considerable language barriers that face us from time to time, the logic and intelligence that we have formed together is unquestionable.

The challenges that are served up in a major event overlay are ongoing but normally related to having a vision, an understanding of the total task at hand, even when it is not always a turn key approach that we are contracted to complete. The challenge is to have an understanding of how the cross relationship functional area relationships have to interact in order to gain successful events.

Typically these major events organising committees or groups "come together" of lots of experienced people in individual disciplines with no real knowledge of how to build a business, as the business has never existed before and will collapse or be disbanded after the feature event in question, and therefore it is difficult to foresee the interaction.

There is just no right way, there is just the way, and that is developed through a commitment to the task via the rigorous application of planning, and an absolute love for the challenges that these events bring.

Major Stadium / Venue Turnover:

The journey that Cleanevent has had over the past 21 years has been remarkable, we have been well decorated with too many press accolades to jump over, and throughout this time we have been consistent in delivery and with continuity, improving our service offering to a specialist sector. None more specialist than that of stadiums and arenas that have multiple sessions or events on the same day, sometimes with 3 or 4 event start times on any given day. We refer to these in between sessions as "turnovers", a time when we have to return the venue to a presentable position prior to the next patron entering for his or her chosen sport, arts or entertainment.

This is a product niche that we have perfected, and started this process at the Atlanta Olympic Games of 1996. Many venues including the 17,000 seat aquatic centre required a turnover approach to their daily routine. Three sessions most days sometimes with as little as 45 minutes from gates close for the first sessions to gates open of the second.

The Cleanevent approach has been one of acknowledging that this service has very little to do with cleaning and is an exercise of Manpower logistics. Right people, right attitude, right equipment, and right time.

It's about having in place the right equipment to aid the manpower and to ensure that manpower aids such as water and drink are well situated prior to the commencement of work, rather than be treated as an afterthought. We recognize that people are our business. You know its not rocket science, but it does all happen at a pace and scale that others can only look up to.

Moonee Valley Racecourse:
Keeping a length ahead of their competition

Moonee Valley Racecourse is one of Australia's premier horse racing venues and function centres. It has twenty function rooms and a racecourse seating capacity for 38,000 people. The racecourse is home to the prestigious Cox Plate and approximately 300,000 patrons pass through the venue each year.

Cleanevent helps MVRC with comprehensive cleaning and waste management services, as well as setting of functions and occasional venue maintenance. Together, MVRC and Cleanevent work diligently to ensure a great presentation to patrons on race days and to attendees at functions.

This long term partnership drives efficiency and cost minimization, helping ensure the success of this unique Melbourne racecourse throughout the year.

Motor Sports International:
Is it Roar or Raw?

Whether the flavour is NASCAR or BUSCH in the USA, the spectacle of Moto GP and super bikes, the glitz and glamour of Formula One and Indy, or the sheer bump and grind track action of the Australian V8 Supercar series, Cleanevent has been providing solutions for promoters, organisers, federations and owners for more than 21 years. However the knowledge gained has not come from sitting in the stands or bleachers; but rather from a ground up commitment to our clients.

As the Cleanevent product emerged and matured, we remained mindful and respectful of the differing sports and their respective position in the local, national and global community, and tailored our service delivery to continuously raise the bar so that the patron commented on the presentation.

Cleanevent is recognised as a provider of choice for providing quality cleaning and waste services at most of the world's best Motor-sport Venues. Through an ongoing commitment to the sport and its patrons, Cleanevent excels at making sure the facility shines through the weekend. The only thing fans should have to remember is-who won the race!
