2007 World Cup Cricket - West Indies

Athens 2004 Olympic Games
Greece was the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games. The first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens in 1896. In 2004, the Olympic Games returned to their origins when Athens hosted the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad as well as the Paralympic Games. www.olympic.org
Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games
The 1996 Games were given a dramatic start when the cauldron was lit by Muhammad Ali. A record-setting 79 nations won medals and 53 won gold. Carl Lewis became only the third person to win the same individual event four times and the fourth person to earn a ninth gold medal. www.olympic.org
Australian Formula One Grand Prix

British Formula 1 Grand Prix
The British Grand Prix, the first Grand Prix ever held, way back in 1950 is a history filled, action-packed spectacular featuring the finest of Formula One's start-of-the-art cars and drivers in July of each year. Doha 2006 Asian Games
In December 2006 saw cleanevent as the service provider for all the Competition, Non-Competion and Training Venues for the Asian Games in Qatar. This is also inclusive of the Athletes village which included not just the cleaning but also the housekeeping. www.doha-2006.com
Grand National Steeplechase
The Grand National is the world's most famous steeplechase. The three-day event attracts tens of thousands of visitors and a massive worldwide television audience. In 2004, more than 50,000 people visited Aintree Racecourse for the final day of racing. www.aintree.co.uk
Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games
Her Majesty the Queen started the biggest sporting party the United Kingdom has ever seen at the breathtaking Opening Ceremony at the showpiece City of Manchester Stadium for the XVII Commonwealth Games. www.commonwealthgames.com
Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games

Melbourne Cup Carnival - Victoria Racing Club
Each year in November, historical Flemington Racecourse plays host to four exciting days of racing and each day is stamped with its own personality and individual appeal. Known as the Melbourne Cup Carnival it is one of Australia's premier sporting events and heralded worldwide, as one of the finest racing carnivals. PGA Golf Tournament
The PGA is the Professional Golfers' Association of America, a membership organization for the nation's club professionals. Rugby World Cup 2004
The Rugby World Cup is the world's third largest event after the Olympics and the Soccer World Cup. The event was held in Australia in 2003 and has been acknowledged as a magnificent final and an equally magnificent Tournament. The figures showed that 1,837,547 people from Australia and around the world attended the 48 matches with the final attracting the largest ever Rugby World Cup crowd of 82,957. Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic & Paralympic Games
The Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games saw the expansion of the Olympic programme to 78 events, including the introduction of women's bobsleigh. Teams from 77 nations competed and athletes from a record 18 nations earned gold medals. There were 2,399 athletes at the game along with 22,000 volunteers and 8,730 members of the media. www.olympic.org
Sydney 2000 Olympic Games
Sydney played host in September and October 2000 to the world's biggest sporting and entertainment spectaculars, the Olympic and Paralympic Games. US Open Tennis Championships, Flushing Meadows, New York
First contested in 1881, the Open has only been played in its current format and location since 1978, when the legendary Arthur Ashe (who the main stadium, erected in 1997, was named after), became the first African American to win the coveted trophy. The Flushing Meadow venue is normally used only for the annual staging of the tennis Open, and is continually improved to provide vendors, patrons and competitors with the best possible facilities. Wimbledon
The Championships at Wimbledon is acknowledged as the world's premier tennis tournament and is the only Grand Slam event still played on grass.
